A cinematic online-menu website for a made-from-scratch Italian deli in Valley View, Ohio. The redesign focuses on appetite-led visuals, a menu the owners edit themselves, live open/closed status and one-tap calling — no online ordering, just a fast, beautiful way to decide what to eat and get in touch.
02The brief
Deanatella’s Italian Deli in Valley View, Ohio makes Italian food from scratch, but its old website didn’t show it. The owners wanted a cinematic menu website — no online ordering — that they can update themselves, and that gets hungry visitors to call or visit.
03The approach
A dark, warm, film-like design with a video hero, an editorial serif paired with a clean sans, and a menu system edited from the WordPress admin. Calls-to-action focus on calling and visiting, with live open/closed status so customers know when to come in.
